BAC. The blood or breath of an alleged drunk driver is tested. Police strive to determine the level (percentage) of alcohol in the alleged drunken driver's blood. If the percentage is in excess of the legal limit, police arrest the suspect.

PAC. Wisconsin's laws include prohibited alcohol content levels. If a driver's tests indicate that he or she has an alcohol limit in excess of the allowable limit, then a citation can also be issued for a prohibited alcohol concentration (PAC) violation.
